Bar da Urca - Pastry
Perhaps there is nothing more Carioca than going for a beer at bar da Urca in the late afternoon.
On this tour we will be trying different local dishes, each bar has its own speciality.
On our first stop we will be trying some different flavours of Brazilian pastry.
Pavao Azul is one of the official historical heritage bars in Rio.
They have as their speciality the real cod-fish-cake called the Patanisca.
In Brazil, Botequim or boteco is a meeting place for “bohemians”, who looked for a good drink, cheap snacks and a chat without obligation.
Also It´s typical at botecos to be served an ice cold 600 ml beer.

As we go around bars changing neighborhoods you will notice different social classes and different behaviors.
Ideally, this tour should help visitors understanding more about the insights of Rio.
Apart from the food we should not forget about the famous Brazilian drinks.

After 4 hours around bars, drinking and eating perhaps it´s time to join a Rio night club.
As a possibility, we can facilitate your entry at Rio Scenarium, a very beautiful club with different ambient, live music and its safe, we highly recommend it.
